Railay Village Resort closed for rebuilding until January 2007.

Railay Village Resort will be upscaled to luxury resort. It will be closed for rebuilding new style resort from 1 May 2006. Completion and opening of the resort is scheduled of January 2007.

It will open its doors on October 15, 2005. Created by renowned architect Bill Bensley, the concept will see the complete renovation of the resort into a fusion of postmodern architecture and Thai tradition inspired by Phuket's tin mining past.

Kindly note, that they have just updated their website at http://www.indigo-pearl.com with a revised version of the INDIGO PEARL hotel fact sheet (pdf file) and the latest pictures of their new mock-up room designs.
